Capcom and Double Helix have confirmed the release date and some new modes for their upcoming Strider reboot. Fans of the series can expect the game to launch digitally in North America on February 18th and on February 19th in Europe. The game will cost $14.99, €14.99, and £11.99 respectively.

Two new challenge modes were confirmed on top of the main story mode. Beacon Run is a challenge mode that is akin to a speed run style of racing through the levels, challenging players with nailing checkpoints in sequence while also defeating enemies. Survival Mode tasks you with surviving through an infinite amount of waves of enemies with a bunch of different items and ability load outs.

Global leaderboards were also confirmed to track both challenge modes, as well as your progress through the main story mode. There will also be multiple costumes for you to unlock for Strider, allowing you to essentially make your own Strider.
