Capcom and Sony Computer Entertainment had to shut down and postpone their beta for Street Fighter V due to it having severe connectivity issues.

Now, we’ve learned the beta is going to relaunch soon, this Friday in fact – August 28th. The new beta will run from August 28th at 4 PM PST through September 2nd at 7 AM PST.

“Outside of the servers being shut down for periodic maintenance, we expect everything to run continuously throughout the entire five day beta period,” Street Fighter V associate producer Peter “ComboFiend” Rosas said in over on the Capcom Unity Blog.

Capcom made a note in saying the beta is expected to remain online throughout the five day period, however, there may still be connectivity problems.
