It appears as though Street Fighter V has not sold as much as Capcom would have hoped for, if their financial report is anything to go by.

A user on NeoGAF compiled the information on the games sales numbers and determined that between April and September, Street Fighter V shipped less than 100k copies across all platforms.

This situation is only made worse for Capcom as they were expecting to sell 2 million units by the end of March, which as of now they’ve undershot that number by around 600k copies.
