We’ve learned a little bit more background information for the recently confirmed Street Fighter V combatant, Laura.
If you hadn’t noticed, Laura’s family name is Matsuda, the same as Sean Matsuda from Street Fighter III. Now, we’ve learned from the official Street Fighter V website (via NeoGAF) that Laura is actually Sean’s older sister.
This means that Laura is the true heir to the famed Matsuda Jiu-Jitsu fighting style, leaving Sean to continue being an imitation of Ken Masters.
It’s quite interesting that Capcom is bringing back Sean’s history into the game, instead of making a completely new character/story altogether.
Street Fighter V is launching for PlayStation 4 and PC sometime next spring.
