Street Fighter V Gets a Cinematic Story Mode as a Free Update in June

In a strange move by Capcom, they recently uploaded a story trailer for their upcoming fighting game Street Fighter V, with a little catch.

The trailer showcases an expansion to the games main story that will be added to the game as a free update sometime in June 2016.

The expansion will bridge the gap between the events that happened between Street Fighter IV and Street Fighter III. Capcom describes this as the series first “cinematic story experience.”

The game will still feature individual character stories on launch.

Street Fighter V is launching on February 16th in the West.
