Street Fighter V Free Trial Until May 5, Breath of Fire II and Classic Bison Costumes Available

Capcom have announced a free trial for Street Fighter V, lasting two weeks.

Starting today and lasting until May 5th, players will be able to play the base game for free with sixteen characters, along with four DLC characters (Akuma, Blanka, Juri and Menat) and the modes introduced in Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition.

The DLC characters will also be available to those who already own Street Fighter V, but the characters can only be used in Ranked, Casual, Battle Lounge, Training, and Challenges modes. For those on PlayStation 4, a PlayStation Plus subscription will still be required to play online.

In other news, Capcom also announced new costumes available to unlock for a short time. The M.Bison classic costume is available between April 23rd and June 15th. It can be unlocked via Fantasy Fortune Reading if you are lucky.

In addition, Falke now has access to a costume making her resemble Katt from Breath of Fire II. Those who play Extra Battle Mode during the trial period (and on May 10th through June 7th) can also unlock Breath of Fire II background music.

Capcom also announced older Capcom Pro Tour DLC is now available. The 2016 CPT DLC Bundle, 2017 CPT DLC Bundle and 2018 CPT DLC Bundle will be available April 23rd.
