Capcom and Taito have announced an arcade port for Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition.
The game will finally hit arcades, with location tests beginning as early as October 5th to the 7th – news confirmed at the Capcom Pro Tour this year.
While it sounds silly that the “Arcade Edition” of the game hit Windows PC and PlayStation 4 first – that’s exactly what happened.
The arcade version of the game is based on the PC and PS4 original, and includes all currently available characters, as well as a USB terminal so you can connect your own pad or controller.
The location tests include:
- Taito Station in Tokyo
- Plaza Capcom in Tokyo
- Nagoya Leisurelan in Nagoya
- Sega Namba in Osaka
- Round One in Fukuoka
A final launch date for the arcade version of Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition wasn’t confirmed.
