Publisher Square Enix and developer Team Ninja revealed Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin’s final DLC pack “Different Future” ahead of its release.

The new Different Future content is launching on January 27th across all supported platforms.

Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin DLC “Different Future”

The story of Jack and his friends as they travel through different time-spaces finally comes to an end with the long-awaited third Season Pass content!

Guided by the spirit Moogle, Jack and his friends arrive at a city in a different time and space, unsure of whether they are allies or enemies.

It is a place that the Rufaines called “Central” and where they observed all dimensions.

However, the city has been transformed into ruins by a Rufainian driven by his obsession to overthrow the Mysteries.

In order to dispel all the causes and effects, Jack pushes forward through the ruins.

New Characters

• The Emperor – The emperor aims to rule the world using magic and demons, and aims for the power of crystal and the power of chaos.
• Moogle – A spirit who appears before Jack and his friends to prevent Lefein’s interference and correct their mistaken future.

Story

The story of those who have fallen to the god of chaos, and the consequences of their actions.

A Rufainian is driven by his obsession to interfere in the dimension and overthrow the Mysteries.

He calls up otherworldly weapons from a dimensional distortion to wipe out the world, including Jack, while claiming to want to restore order and beauty to the world.

Enemies that stand in the way

• The “Omega,” a god-killing weapon called forth from beyond the dimension – Jack and his team are hunted down by an array of unprecedentedly powerful techniques.
• Delta Attack: Watch out for petrification as well as damage – Wave Cannon: Beams are released from the magic circle that is deployed.
• The “Emperor” appears in front of Jack and the others, following Moogle – He has come to this dimension with a different purpose than the Rufaines, but he does not seem to be a reassuring companion.
• Hymn of the Demon Realm: Summons spirits to attack and use them. Summons demons such as Gigarth and Quarl.
• Craving for Chaos: A magic circle appears at the player’s feet and multiple magical spheres explode as they float to the surface.

New Jobs

• Musketeer: The unique “Stun Bullet” action can interrupt an enemy’s unguardable attack.
• Hunter: While under the effect of the unique action “Analyze,” a count is accumulated for each hit against an enemy.
• Gambler: The unique “Roulette” action spins a roulette and uses two randomly selected abilities.

New features added to blacksmithing

Expanded synthesis specifications with imitation materials

Imitation materials are versatile materials that can be used at blacksmithing facilities. Imitation materials can be used to replace materials that are lacking when strengthening and synthesizing equipment.
