Steam Page For Piranha Byte’s RPG Elex Goes Live, Minimum Requirements Revealed

Piranha Byte’s new CRPG Elex, which is presumably still on schedule for its early 2017 release, just had its Steam page go up this week. What this means is, beyond the arrival of new screenshots and a devoted discussion forum, it gives us our first look at what the game’s official minimum requirements will be.

    OS: Windows 7, 8, Windows 10 (64 bit)
Processor: Intel Core i5 at 2.5 GHz or better or AMD Phenom II x4 940 at 3.0 GHz
    Memory: 6 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 or AMD Radeon HD 5870, 1 GB VRAM
    DirectX: Version 11
    Storage: 20 GB available space

One thing to note is that there are no recommended requirements listed, and these are of course subject to change as development on the title continues. Nonetheless, this gives players an idea of where they stand in regards to running the game. For what it’s worth, the minimum requirements are quite low, with the game able to be run on what are essentially 6 year old GPUs.
