Steam is Having an Anime Weekend Sale

Steam anime sale 2015-01-08PC overlords Steam have decided to hold what they’re calling an Anime Weekend Sale … starting today.

There are a few things that don’t entirely make sense about this. Firstly, it’s started on Thursday. Secondly, it’s hardly an exhaustive list of the anime-inspired games on Steam; most of the JRPGs are conspicuously absent. Thirdly, some people might take issue with an “Anime Weekend” including non-Japanese—even Western—games, which it does.

The dubiousness of the moniker aside, the titles available have a fairly wide scope, ranging from visual novels to platformers to fighters, so click through if you might be interested. The sale is ending on the morning of January 12th.
