Staxel is a Minecraft-Meets-Harvest Moon Town-Life RPG

Staxel is a “town-life RPG” that puts quite an emphasis on farming elements, and its coming to PC sometime next year.

Featured above, you can view the game’s latest trailer – it’s essentially a voxel-based sandbox game like Minecraft, but with the charm and farming mechanics from the Harvest Moon series. You can terraform, build the most cozy or crazy house ever, and even go dungeon-diving for rewards.

The development team behind the game are looking to provide a “relaxing, laid back feel,” while also giving players lots of options to explore and build up the farm of their dreams – even with friends (as there’s multiplayer already built-in).

The world in Staxel is procedurally generated, so each biome has a different look, as well as resources (bugs, fish, items, crops, etc). As you explore the game, you’ll naturally have to craft new tools, weapons, and more to get towards the really good treasures and item sets.

Staxel was also successfully Greenlit on Steam.
