The newest Youtube video from The Pokémon Company has brought even more new info about the upcoming Pokémon Sun & Moon games.
The first evolution for the starter Pokémon were revealed: the Blade Quill Pokémon Dartrix, the Fire Cat Pokémon Torracat and the Pop Star Pokémon Brionne.
Also shown was The Festival Plaza, which is a special area of the game, owned by Captain Sophocles, where all communication related features such as battling and trading are gathered together. Here, players will be able to meet guests and access several booths where you can use Festival Coins which are earned by fulfilling missions, guiding guests to other booths. Those booths range from stat training to dye stores.
Pokémon Sun & Moon are bringing a fresh spin on classic Pokémon features, and one of them is the ways in which you interact with Pokémon Boxes. Poké Pelago is a space where Pokémon placed in Boxes can live and interact in several special islands. Isle Abeens will act as the game’s Safari Zone, where wild Pokémon can take a liking to you and join your party. Isle Aphun allows you to send your Boxed Pokémon out on expeditions to gather items. Isle Evelup is a training specific island, where your Pokémon can be trained and given stat and buff increasing drinks.
Mega-Evolution is confirmed to return, with all the previous Mega-Evolutions from X, Y, Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire available.
A Special Demo for Pokémon Sun & Moon will be available on October 18th, 2016, and just like the Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire special demo, you will be able to transfer a Pokémon from the demo to the main game. This time, that Pokémon is the Greninja owned by Ash Ketchum, dubbed Ash-Greninja. This Greninja has the exclusive Ability ‘Battle Bonds’, which allows him to evolve into the Ash-Greninja form for the rest of the match whenever he defeats an opposing Pokémon.
Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon are launching for the Nintendo 3DS on November 18th in North America and November 23rd in Europe.
