Starfield gets new rating that suggests it has no sexual content

Starfield

The Australian government has rated Starfield, Bethesda’s upcoming open world RPG, and I have some unfortunate news.

Starfield has been rated R18+ by the Australian government, but not for the reasons you might think. The game has reached this rating for high-impact drug usage and strong-impact violence.

The rating notes there is seemingly no nudity or sexual content in Bethesda’s new game, as the rating for sexual content is grey, for none.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition ended up with a yellow rating for mild-impact sexual content, which makes us wonder how puritan Starfield is going to be when it comes to sexual content.

That said, if the Australian government took a peek at Skyrim‘s Nexus Mods page they would probably have a stroke, so Starfield is only clear until modders get their hands on it.

Starfield was recently delayed though we’ll get a deeper look at the game on June 11th with its dedicated “Starfield Direct.”
