Bethesda games are notorious for their glitches and silly workarounds. This time in Starfield we’ve got a two-for-one special.
In Starfield, shopkeepers actually pull their inventory from chests that exist outside the playable space. These are typically clipped through the floor nearby.
One chest however, is close enough to the surface that tenacious players can just barely interact with it. What this means is that you can rob the store blind, wait a day, then come back and do it all over again. But how?
How to find the infinite money puddle in Starfield
- Visit Akila City
- Find Shepherd’s General Store
- Find the nearby puddle outfront
- Enter third person mode
- Crouch
- Look around until you get the prompt to loot the chest
That’s it! It literally couldn’t be easier. If you don’t see it, then you may be at the wrong puddle; or maybe Bethesda finally patched this out.
Starfield is available now on PC (via Steam) and Xbox Series X/S. You can check out our review here. (We recommend it!)
