Publisher Chucklefish has provided a new development blog update for Stardew Valley, confirming the game’s PS Vita port is still happening amongst other development updates.
The game’s PS Vita port is launching sometime next year, and it will be cross-buy with the PlayStation 4 version. Unfortunately, the upcoming multiplayer update for the game won’t be coming to the PS Vita port.
The developer is working on a new content which is coming alongside the multiplayer update. Further details are still unclear, however the above screenshot was teased for the new content. The game is getting more language support, including: French, Italian, Korean and Turkish sometime in 2018.
The update noted that while game’s multiplayer update is “coming along great,” they had to push the beta for it back to Q1 of next year to give more room for polishing and Q&A. They’re working on implementing marriage between players, and most recently finished up working on festivals.
Stardew Valley is currently available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. In case you missed it, you can find my review for Stardew Valley here (I highly recommend it).
