StarCraft: Remastered Launches August 14 Worldwide

Blizzard Entertainment has announced the release date for StarCraft: Remastered.

The upcoming high-definition remaster of the legendary real-time strategy game is set for an August 14th release worldwide, for $14.99. Featured above, you can view a clever live-action trailer/advertisement for the re-release, which is clearly marketed towards the games sprawling Korean audience.

Blizzard has fully localized the game into English, Brazilian Portuguese, European and Latin American Spanish, French, German, Italian, Polish, Russian, Korean, Japanese, and simplified and traditional Chinese.


If you pre-purchase the game you’ll get three unique building skins to use in the game: the “Char Hive,” the “Korhal Command Center,” and the “Aiur Nexus.” If you purchase the game whenever you’ll get digital bonuses in StarCraft II, including: “Alexei Stukov” co-op commander, as well as three unique portraits themed after StarCraft: Remastered.
