Star Wars Jedi “final chapter” in the works at Respawn Entertainment

Star Wars Jedi

Publisher Electronic Arts and developer Respawn Entertainment have announced Star Wars Jedi has a new “final chapter” release in the works.

The new Star Wars Jedi “final chapter” will likely be a full third game for the action-adventure series, which has spawned two games in 2019’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and 2023’s Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

News of a third Star Wars Jedi game came from EA Entertainment and Technology president Laura Miele during their investor relations day briefing.

“We have delivered some of the highest quality and best-selling Star Wars games of all-time, with over $5 billion in net bookings,” Miele said in the briefing.

She added, “This impressive track record includes of course the Star Wars Jedi games, where over 40 million Star Wars fans have connected with Cal Kestis and his arc of becoming a powerful Jedi. Respawn is working hard to bring the final chapter of this thrilling story to players.”

Whatever the third Star Wars Jedi game ends up becoming, we’ll report on it first – stay tuned.
