We’ve learned (via Games Talk) that Square Enix is porting Star Ocean: Second Evolution to both PS Vita and PlayStation 4.

We previously reported on the game making a reappearance last December, although we now know its simply a port of the PlayStation Portable original (which is in itself a remake of the original game).

The news comes via Star Ocean 5 producer Shuichi Kobayashi, who confirmed the port during the Famitsu Channel Tokyo Game Show 2015 broadcast. Koboyashi said the release “isn’t that far out,” but he didn’t mention a release date.
