We’ve learned (via Games Talk) that Square Enix could possibly start working on Valkyrie Profile 3 at some point in the future.

The new development comes via Star Ocean 5: Integrity and Faithlessness producer Shuichi Kobayashi, who revealed in a Dengeki Online live stream this morning that he has a proposal for the game sitting on his personal computer.

While remarking on Star Ocean 5‘s Valykrie Profile 2 music content, Koboyashi said that if the game doesn’t sell well, they won’t make a sequel. However, he was then asked about a third V (alkyrie Profile) game, as well as a sixth S(tar Ocean) game, to which he said “there’s a proposal sitting on my computer, let me show it finally!”
