Square Enix has announced a delay for the PlayStation 3 version of Star Ocean 5: Integrity and Faithlessness in Japan.

The game will forgo its planned March 31st release date to one roughly a month later, on April 28th. Square Enix reportedly said the PlayStation 3 version needs to be optimized further, despite it lacking the visual fidelity of the PlayStation 4 version.

The PlayStation 4 version is still on track for a March 31st release date.

Star Ocean 5: Integrity and Faithlessness is launching as a PlayStation 4-exclusive in North America and Europe sometime later this year.
