Square Enix has announced they’re bringing their free-to-play, online mecha-shooter Figureheads to PlayStation 4.
The game will launch for PlayStation 4 on March 9th of this year, and will be free-to-play on the console as well. Featured above, you can view a new trailer for the PS4 version.
Famitsu has shared an online preview for the game, complete with the first screenshots:
Player remotely pilot a fully-customizable mecha, in a variety of battlefields. You can also customize your pilot, and battle with multiple other players in up to 5-on-5 mecha battles. The PlayStation 4 version of the game comes with a PVE mode where you can battle against AI-controlled mecha.
Pre-orders for the PlayStation 4 version of the game via the PlayStation Store come in a Xenogears-themed pack. Setting you back 1,500 yen, the set includes: a 30 day EXP boost, a 30 day BIT boost, 30 Gold (in-game currency), mecha styled after Weltall, Brigandier, and Siebzehn, as well as AI based on Fei and Bart.
