Square Enix is De-Listing the PC Version of The Last RemnantĀ on September 4

Square Enix has announced they’re removing the Windows PC version ofĀ The Last RemnantĀ from various digital and physical marketplaces on September 4th.

The game will be effectively removed from sale on PC at 10 AM Pacific / 1 PM Eastern / and so on. If you own the game already, you’ll naturally be able to keep playing it – that is if you keep it in your Steam library.

While it remains to be seen why the game is being removed from PC, The Last RemnantĀ is available for PCĀ via Steam, for $9.99.

Here’s a rundown on the game:

Mitra, yama, qsiti, sovaniā€¦
These four races exist in one world.
A world filled with Remnants ā€” mysterious artifacts from an ancient era.
Who created the Remnant? How long ago? And for what purpose?
With these questions left unanswered, the Remnants became beneficial tools used for the good of civilization.
The world was at peaceā€¦or so it seemed. Who was to know such darkness lay in wait?
The powers of the Remnants slowly began to change the worldā€™s balance.
A rift slowly formed between those who ruled and those who obeyed.
This was the dawning of a new era ā€” an era of countless frays that would be brought upon the world by those enslaved by their own lust for power.
A thousand years later, the journey of one young man begins.
