Square Enix has confirmed they’re bringing Final Fantasy VII to the PlayStation 4.

Featured above is the new trailer for the game’s port to the console. To clarify: this Final Fantasy VII is a port of the PC version, which has upscaled visuals, and not a remake.

Thanks a lot for hyping the crap out of that announcement, Shinji Hashimoto. At least Square Enix’s brand director didn’t end his presentation with “please be excited”, right?
