Square Enix has filed a trademark for “Alice Order” in Japan.

The news of the trademark follows the mysterious teaser website the publisher set up, which you can view here. It’s worth mentioning that both the teaser website and their official Japanese Amusement Expo lineup of games confirm at least one new game to be an arcade title.

While the mark was filed back on January 13th, it was just made public recently. The timing of the trademark being made public and their reveal coming at the Japan Amusement Expo are leading us to believe they’re all related. The most curious thing is the teaser website featuring the black mage, Final Fantasy-esque menu bars and sounds, and those icons.
