While Dragon Quest XI was just announced for Playstation 4 and the Nintendo 3DS, the speculation and well-wishing from the fans to bring the game west has already begun.

It’s typically difficult to know if a publisher is hearing their fans wishes, but Square Enix has already made a response to everyone wondering if the game is coming west:

“Hi everyone! I know a lot of people have been asking if Dragon Quest XI is coming to the West but sadly we don’t have a concrete plan atm,” the publisher said on the official Dragon Quest twitter. This is certainly a bit disappointing to hear, but its still quite early before we’ll be hearing anything about a localization.
