    We’ve learned (via Gematsu) that two new iconic characters are making an appearance in Square Enix’s arcade-reboot of Dissidia Final Fantasy.

    Both Squall Leonhart, the protagonist from Final Fantasy VIII and Final Fantasy V protagonist Bartz Klauser have been confirmed as playable characters, during a Dissidia Final Fantasy live stream this morning.

    The two images (shown above and below) were captured by Twitter user Coppola012 even managed to captured some footage from both Squall and Bartz.

    Dissidia Final Fantasy is coming to Japanese arcades some time this fall.
