Brazilian developer Hermit Crab Studio have announced Sportia, a new multi-sport arcade action game they’re making with Ubisoft.
Sportia is in development for Windows PC (via Steam) and unspecified consoles, though a release date wasn’t announced.
“This partnership marks a new chapter for Hermit Crab,” said Matheus Vivian, Hermit Crab CEO in a press release. “After ten years working with iconic sports brands, we’re thrilled to collaborate with a global gaming powerhouse to create our most ambitious game to date.”
Ubisoft Strategic Innovation Lab VP Nicolas Pouard added, “At Ubisoft, we value working with studios that bring both expertise and passion. With Hermit Crab’s deep knowledge of sports games, we found a strong and reliable partner capable of delivering something truly fresh to both the gaming and sports worlds.”
