Splatoon 2 will be getting update 3.0 in April of 2018. This update will include new arenas, a new rank, weapons and outfits for the third person shooter.

Also announced is the games first paid DLC expansion, the Octo Expansion, coming this summer. The expansion features a brand new single player campaign and upon completion, will allow players to play as an Octoling in online play.
