We’ve learned (via Famitsu) that Splatoon 2 has sold quite a bit of units in Japan, within the first couple days of its release.
The game sold over 670,955 copies within the first three days of its July 21st release in the region. That number includes both retail copies, download cards, and even Switch hardware bundles – however it doesn’t include digital sales.
The original game sold over 150,000 units within the first four days of its release, and total lifetime sales just over 1.5 million units.
Splatoon 2 is now available for the Nintendo Switch. In case you missed it, you can find our thorough written and video review for the game here (we highly recommend it!).
