The Pokemon Company has announced a new Pokemon game for mobile devices.
The new game is seemingly focused entirely on Magikarp, and is named Splash! Magikarp (or Haneru! Koiking in Japanese). The game is set for a release sometime this spring in Japan.
The above image was shown on the game’s teaser website, which all comes in the form of a newspaper that reports on strange, fish-like holes appearing all over a quiet town. An investigation is started to figure out where all these holes are coming from.
The game is developed by the Tokyo-based studio Select Button, and we don’t really have much more to go on beyond that.
