New publisher Dear Villagers and indie developer Sunny Syrup Studio have announced a release window for Spirit Mancer, their 2D hack-and-slash game.
Spirit Mancer is launching sometime in November 2024 for Windows PC (via Steam), Nintendo Switch, and PS4.
“We hope you all enjoy our game, Spirit Mancer,” developer Sunny Syrup Studio said in a press release. “We poured our heart and soul, and maybe a few too many crazy ideas, into this passion project. We had many good laughs and a lot of fun crafting this insane adventure. We hope you have as much fun playing it as we did creating it.”

Spirit Mancer is a 2D Hack and Slash adventure with deck-building mechanics that will be released in November on PC, PS5 and Nintendo Switch. Spirit Mancer is inspired by classics like Mega Man, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure and Pokemon, in the game players are in the role of a modern-day demon hunter, they can go alone or also can join forces with a friend in local couch co-op mode. Slash, Shoot and Break hordes of demons from Ars Goetia and stop the evil queen with the power of the Spirit Mancer. Capture their spirits and summon them out into battle in the beautiful yet dangerous world of Inferno!
Fight your way home using a variety of weapons, guns, and Spirit Cards. Capture and summon demons as your allies in battles to defeat the Queen of Inferno.
Lost in the inferno, you are a demon hunter who accidentally got teleported to this demon’s realm. Now, you must unite with your allies and find a mystical key to open the portal back to your world.
