Souls-like ARPG Immortal: Unchained Now Available

Toadman Interactive have released their new hardcore action RPG, Immortal: Unchained.

The new Souls-like game is now available for on Windows PC (via Steam), PS4, and Xbox One for $49.99. Featured above, you can view the launch trailer for the game.

What sets Immortal: Unchained apart from most games that try to mimic the Souls-like formula is the greater emphasis on ranged combat. The game’s narrative team includes writers that have previously worked on The Witcher and Killzone: Shadow Fall.

While melee weapons certainly still play a big role in the game, Immortal: Unchained‘s sci-fi world is packed full of exotic assault rifles, grenade launchers, and other futuristic guns, ensuring that you can play the game as a shooter if you so wish. You can find a trailer for the game above.

Here’s a rundown of the game:

Unleashed and unforgiving. Can you rise to the challenge?

On your journey, expect no mercy and no assistance: Those that aren’t trying to kill you, will instead try to use you to further their own agenda. Trust no one.
