Atlus have released a new trailer for Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers.
The above trailer shows off new character Sophia (voiced by Misaki Kuno). With the Phantom Thief code name Sophie, not much is revealed. First, the character seems to be some kind of AI who can materialize in the other world, or perhaps an AI from another world who can only speak to characters in the real world through their smartphones- even Sophia herself is not sure! With no memories, Sophia only has one goal- to become friends with people.
Despite her air-headed attitude and making strange choices of conversation, she carves through enemies with her yo-yos, blaster, and her Bless-Element Persona Pythos. She also seems to be able to learn skills that let her heal and support allies in battle.
Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers is launching February 20th, 2020 in Japan for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.
