Sony Worldwide Studios Boss Hopes to Localize Soul Sacrifice Delta and Over My Dead Body 2 in the West

While we just confirmed the release date of Ore no Shikabane wo Koeteyuke 2, or as it’s known in English – Over My Dead Body 2, it seems like the President of Sony’s Worldwide Studios, Shuhei Yoshida, still has hope that the game can be localized and released in the West. The game is coming on July 17th, but Yoshida hopes that it can come out in the West.

The tease came via a post on his personal Twitter, although what started as a somewhat goofy exchange between him and a random Twitter user ended with a tease from him (as a response to her questioning whether or not it was coming West) saying that he really hopes Over My Dead Body 2 will come out in the west:

“Thanks, I really hope it comes out in the West.”

Another tease came from Yoshida when he made a guest appearance over on the PlayStation Blogcast, in which he talked at length over the newly released Soul Sacrifice Delta, an updated version of the bold new IP from both Keiji Inafune and his new studio, Comcept. He ended his talk about the game with even more words of hope that it too might see release in the West.

So what do you guys think – should both games be localized? If they are, would you be interested in either of them?
