Sony and Microsoft have been having a pissing contest to see who can pull off the biggest, most ridiculous publicity stunt to promote their upcoming hardware. Recently, we’ve seen the Playstation 4 Apartment, and then the Xbox One Hotel, but now Sony seems to have taken the cake.
Right now, Sony is having a Playstation 4 Review Event in New York City, where they’ve invited a bunch of journalists and industry professionals to go oogle the new hardware and games – in a closed environment of course. The catch? It’s in a weird, old hotel called The Standard High Line, which kind of didn’t make sense, until we saw this tweet:

Oh, alright Sony, touche. That’s a pretty classy way of making use out of a temporary Playstation-marked building. It’s a shame they couldn’t paint the rest of it black or something, but that might be asking for a bit too much.
