Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced they’re removing Facebook integration from PlayStation 4.
The company removed support for the social media platform today, October 7th. Users will no longer be able to share gameplay, screenshots, and other activities to Facebook from their PlayStation 4 to their Facebook account.
This also means PS4 owners won’t be able to find PlayStation Network friends via their Facebook accounts anymore. PS4 users will no longer be able to import profile pictures from their Facebook profiles either.
Despite the abrupt removal of Facebook on PlayStation 4, Sony offered no explanation for why they’re removing support for the platform.
