• Sony Pictures USA Registers Attack on Titan Websites

    We’ve learned (via Anime News Network) that Sony Pictures has registered a bunch of Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin) related web domains.

    The domains registered are as follows:

    • attackonthetitan-movie.com
    • attackonthetitan-movie.net
    • attackonthetitan.com
    • attackonthetitan.net
    • attackonthetitanmovie.com
    • attackonthetitanmovie.net
    • attackonthetitanthemovie.com
    • attackonthetitanthemovie.net

    Despite the name including the word “the” in the name, it’s worth mentioning all eight domains redirect to the main Sony Pictures website.

    There are two live-action movies based off the original manga by Hajime Isayama, both of which are coming in August and September in Japan. The 2013 anime is also getting two compilation movies, the first of which seeing a release this past November, while the second is coming on June 27th.

    Could this mean a movie is coming, or is Sony Pictures USA officially localizing the live-action films?
