Sony and People Can Fly enter agreement to produce game based on Sony IP

People Can Fly

People Can Fly announced they’ve entered an agreement with Sony to produce a new game based on a Sony-owned IP.

The new agreement was revealed via an investor report by People Can Fly, which confirms the Polish game studio led by Adrian Chmielarz will produce a new game, codenamed “Project Delta,” based on a Sony IP.

Details on the new agreement are scant as the game is naturally being kept hush hush until its ready for a reveal, though the agreement notes People Can Fly will produce the game for Sony on a work-for-hire model. This means People Can Fly will work on the game for Sony, who will publish and own the title.

A previous agreement between People Can Fly and Microsoft was recently revealed to confirm the developer is co-developing Gears of War: E-Day, so it’s safe to say they’ll likely produce a similar title for Sony as the main studio or a co-developer.
