Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced they’ve entered an agreement to acquire mobile game developer Savage Game Studios.

The new agreement will have the Berlin, German based developer operate independently under their big new PlayStation Studios Mobile Division, which is entirely separate from Sony’s console game development.

The new branch and the studio will focus on “innovative, on-the-go experiences” based on both existing and new PlayStation franchises.

Savage Game Studios was founded back in 2020 by a team of seasoned developers workign on “some of the most popular mobile games enjoyed by plyers around the world,” and is already working on a “AAA mobile live service action game.”
