Sega teased a new Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds animation of sorts at Anime Expo 2025 that will launch alongside the game this fall.

While details are scant, the teaser says the new animation will celebrate the game’s release, though it remains to be seen if this will be a full animated release or simply a promo for the game’s launch.

The upcoming Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds game will feature a lot of crossover content with other IPs like the Nickelodeon-run series like SpongeBob SquarePants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Avatar, as well as Minecraft and Sonic Prime content.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is set to launch across Windows PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, Switch 2, PS4, and PS5 on September 25th, worldwide.
