Sonic Frontiers has been out since November 8th and it seems to have gained a lot of traction, at least in the PC sphere, setting a new record for the franchise.

On Steam it managed to reach a staggering 19,104 peak players, which easily beats out the previous record of Sonic Mania which was 11,883. Given these numbers, it seems that Sonic Frontiers will become the best selling title of the franchise on PC.

This doesn’t factor in the many console copies the game has sold, which may or may not be as successful. Still, this is likely a positive sign for the game’s launch as a whole.
