Snow Bros. 2 Special gets release date in April

Snow Bros. 2 Special

Publisher Gravity Games Arise and developer CRT Games have announced a release date for Snow Bros. 2 Special, their new remake of the classic platforming-action game.

Snow Bros. 2 Special is set to launch on April 10th for Windows PC (via Steam) and Nintendo Switch worldwide. The game will support Japanese, English, Korean, Chinese, and other languages.

Here’s a rundown on the new remake, plus a new trailer:

Snow Bros. 2 Special is a remake of ‘Snow Bros. 2’ released by TOAPLAN in 1994, and the IP license is currently managed by TATSUJIN, which inherited the legacy. It inherited the original’s main story of rescuing a princess captured by the devil, and the character design and graphics of the four unique main characters were upgraded to suit a modern style.

In addition, it supports 4-player multiplayer, which was not in the original, and is expected to provide a variety of fun by adding various modes such as original mode, survival mode, time attack mode, and sky run. In particular, the new content ‘Monster Challenge’ allows you to experience the unique pleasure of directly controlling the monsters that appear in the game to overcome the stages. In addition, the overall content volume is increased by adding new stages, boasting even higher quality.
