Rebellion have released a new trailer for Sniper Elite V2 Remastered, giving their “7 Reasons to Upgrade.”
Along with 4K, 60FPS and HDR support on supported platforms, the game’s models and environments have been updated. These include modern rendering, post-processing effects, enhanced texturing and level geometry, a revamped lighting system, and “dozens upon dozens of improvements and refinements.”
In addition, the game adds a brand new frame-by-frame photo mode, seven new playable characters from Rebellion’s Zombie Army series, expanded multiplayer for up to 16 players online (on Nintendo Switch this is limited to 8 players online plus four with local wifi), and all past additional content for free.
As previously reported, those who own the original Sniper Elite V2 on Steam will be able to purchase the game for a discounted $9.99 / £6.99 / €9.99, down from the original $34.99 / £29.99 / €34.99.
