Third-person MOBA Smite has just turned 10 years old, and to celebrate, a massive giveaway of gems is underway.

We’re halfway through Year 10 and what better way to celebrate than with the BIGGEST GEM GIVEAWAY EVER!
Now through August 17 over 10 Million Gems are up for grabs. And the best part? All you have to do is play SMITE to be eligible to receive a share of the pool! Here’s how things will work out:
- Dates: July 28 (first winner drawn at 11 am ET) – August 18 (final winner drawn at 10:30 am ET)
- Every 30 minutes a random winner will be selected from the pool of players who have played at least 1 game in the past hour
- Each winner receives 10,000 Gems (for a total of 1,008 unique winners with a total prize pool of 10,080,000 Gems)
- Any player that has played a game of SMITE (Outside of Practice and Custom Games) during the event time frame is eligible!

One winner every 30 minutes sounds pretty good to me, considering all you have to do is play a match to be eligible.
