Smite gets nostalgic with Runescape collaboration

Developer Titan Forge Games and publisher Hi-Rez Studios have announced a collaboration with popular MMORPG Runescape.

The third-person MOBA game will be receiving multiple new skins for their various Gods based on the game. The characters getting these collab skins will be Bellona, Cerberus, Merlin, Vamana, and Neith.

These skins, aside from being based on Runescape, also take inspiration from the old school graphics of the original browser based game which was highly popular in the late 2000s and still continues to run to this day.

Smite is no stranger to events where they match up with other notable IPs. Most recently they had a Nickelodeon event staring famous characters such as Danny Phantom and XJ-9. Other events also include the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the Avatar series.

Smite has been available for Windows PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The new Runescape collaboration will be available on November 15th.
