Hi-Rez Studios have announced that Cthulhu will be the next God added to their mythological MOBA, Smite.

Cthulhu will be added as part of a new Great Old Ones pantheon, based on the famous works of H. P. Lovecraft. More information will be released on May 27th at 3 p.m. ET during a livestream on Smite‘s official Twitch channel.

The end of the teaser trailer reveals the character will be added to the game in June 2020. UPDATE: a press release confirms the character will be added mid-June 2020.
