The indie hit sequel Slime Rancher 2 finally hits 1.0 and celebrates the occasion in a variety of ways.

Version 1.0 is now available on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, as well as consoles across  PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The slime-raising sequel was originally released in September 2022 across Windows PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Game Pass via early access.

Developer Monomi Park is commemorating the launch of Slime Rancher 2 and 10th anniversary of the original Slime Rancher in a big way. They’ve partnered with iam8bit to announce physical editions of the new game.

They’re also organizing themed in-person events for the fans:

Boba Guys | Sept. 26 – Oct. 12

Fans can celebrate the Slime Rancher 2 launch with a signature “Rainbow Island” drink in a branded cup designed by lead artist Norma Martinez at all locations! A full Slime Rancher 2 store takeover experience complete with an expanded drink menu, photo opportunity with Beatrix standee, and Boba Guys x Slime Rancher 2 merchandise available for purchase will be exclusive to flagship locations in Long Beach (CA), Nolita (NY), and Santana Row (CA). The Art of Slime Rancher | Nov. 8 (Opening Reception) – Nov. 23 

An exhibition at the iconic Gallery Nucleus in Alhambra, CA, will feature artists representing the imaginative art of Slime Rancher with event-exclusive merchandise and works from the creators for sale. A special opening reception will take place on Nov. 8 and include a panel, giveaways, autograph and meet-and-greet opportunities with Slime Rancher developers and special guest artist for the physical iam8bit Exclusive Edition poster, Yusuke Naora (FINAL FANTASY VII, X, XV).
