Slain Gets Physical Release on PlayStation 4

Wolf Brew Games has announced that Slain: Back From Hell is getting a physical release on PlayStation 4.

The new release is coming via Signature Edition Games, and just like Limited Run Games, there will be a limited number up for grabs.

Here’s what comes with the release:

  • Region Free PS4 Slain: Back from Hell Game
  • The Official Slain: Back from Hell Soundtrack CD
  • Slain: Back from Hell Artbook
  • An Outer Box With Developer’s Signature

It’s worth pointing out that game creator Andrew Gilmour will be personally signing every retail copy of the game.

A release date wasn’t announced, however Signature Edition Games said they’re expecting to ship around mid January of next year. While the game costs $14.99 digitally, the physical release will set you back $38 USD.

Awesome. The Signiture Edition Games have been doing some great work and I like their business model much more.

enjoy physical copies but I still don’t like how we essentially have to poke and beg these publishers to make a physical copy when it was MANDATORY from the NES era up until the PS2/Xbox era. I am a game player but I also enjoy to actually own my games and this trend of digital only games annoys the hell out of me.

Considering I thought Mario Kart Wii was the worst one, and I actually like DMC, I don’t see the problem. I don’t care for a lot of things Jim’s said, but he’s still fun. (Also DoA 3 wasn’t released because it was a pretty garbage game that would have sold miserably no matter the censorship.)

I don’t use patreon, I just like his videos. :3 Which are entertaining, and usually have very good points. I also don’t really care about SJW nonesense, as it’s just a fad to me. Games have been censored since the NES/Famicom. Sure it’s annoying, and I always support companies who don’t censor, but that doesn’t stop me from enjoying a game that has been censored. I just don’t get triggered every time someone blacks out a pair of panties or changes a character’s clothes slightly. Censor doesn’t even sound like a real word anymore.

“Games have been censored since the NES/Famicom.”
And how exactly does that justify it?
