Skybound Entertainment has announced a new crowdfunding campaign for a new AAA game set in their Invincible superhero franchise.

The new crowdfunding campaign is being hosted on Republic, an investent platform that Skybound used prior to raise $18 million from over 6,000 investors in 2023.

At the time of publishing Skybound has already raised over $500,000 of their $5 million goal. Investors will get various perks and rewards varying from behind-the-scenes access to discounted merch. The campaign will end on April 29th.

Skybound is hoping to capitalize on the recently-concluded and popular Invincible animated series on Prime Video, which sits at a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

The new AAA Invincible game is described as a “high-octane blood bath that is anything but indie” and will be made by a 30-person in-house team made up of notable industry vets from Activision Blizzard, EA, Amazon Games, and even creator Robert Kirkman.

“We are thrilled to launch this Regulation Crowdfunding campaign on Republic, inviting fans to join us on this new expansion and venture,” remarked David Alpert, CEO of Skybound Entertainment. “At Skybound, we prioritize fostering meaningful connections with our audience, and this initiative allows fans to not only immerse themselves in the world of Invincible but also to directly contribute to its expansion.”
