Sky: Children of the Light will attempt to break the “most users in a concert-themed virtual world” Guinness record.

You can read the announcement below:

“Sky Kids” will gather in the game’s Valley of Triumph’s Coliseum for a 45-minute in-game concert featuring singer AURORA as thatgamecompany attempts to set the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title for “Most Users in a Concert-Themed Virtual World.” The goal is to have more than 10,000 real-life players joining together on one screen/shared space at the same time.

The main concert will take place from 3-4 p.m. CEST on Friday, Aug. 25, and a countdown to the event can be found on Sky’s official website. Encore concerts will take place every four hours starting at 11 a.m. CEST on Saturday, Aug. 26 through Sunday, Sept. 3.

To participate in the concert, players need to download Sky for free on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4/5 or an iOS or Android mobile device and head to the game’s Valley of Triumph’s Coliseum, or speak with the AURORA Guide in Home, to teleport to the event once it’s close to concert time. A guide on how to join is available on thatgamecompany’s YouTube channel.

Players interested in participating can download the game for free on available platforms.

Sky: Children of the Light is available on Nintendo Switch, Android, PlayStation 4, iOS, and PlayStation 5. The game will also receive a Microsoft Windows port (through Steam) soon.
